In Leaf and Bloom
In Leaf and Bloom traces a quiet arc through light, tone, and form — from the moment a flower first opens to the soft blur of its fading. The series moves like breath: a beginning, a fullness, a held stillness, and a release.

Printed on RC pearl paper, each image reflects a commitment to analog photography as a form of attentive slowness. The soft sheen of the paper surface catches light like dew, holding each frame between clarity and breath. This is not a study of flowers as specimens, but as gestures — shaped by light and shadow, stillness and shift.

The photographs favor subtle tonal transitions over high contrast. Some frames are sharp and sculpted, while others dissolve into softness. Together, they form a rhythm of presence and loss — not dramatic, but quietly insistent.

In Leaf and Bloom invites the viewer to look with patience — to follow a form as it emerges and recedes. It is a meditation on what holds, what fades, and how we learn to notice the difference
